Whenever I'm on chest day and I do my normal bench, i can't put up weight at all at incline or declince bench press.

I'm 16 about 5'10", 145. I'll go through my normal routine and get 3 sets of bench in, (i'm even dead at the end of these) but right after I'll try to do a differnt type of bench and I can't put up close to what I did.

Is this normal and what can I do to fix it?

Incline bench is harder-so you will do less weight
decline bench is mostly shoulder/lat/arm strength, so they might be weaker than your chest also explaining the less weight.

Or it could be your diet, make sure to take in enough carbs.

ok thanks, and this is an example:
  • I'll do 115-135 3 sets at around 6-10 reps than I won't be able to put up 95 on the incline

Do you think I should just start with real little weight and work my way up?

To get best of both id say interlink them

do 1 set bench
then 1 set incline
bench
incline
bench
incline

Hopefully youll be able to pull that off, whats your pre workout nutrition like?

And remember, as long as the weight is challenging-it is working the muscle the way you want it to.

My bench for 8-10 reps is 135lbs too, but i havent inclined in a while, i can put up 45's dumbells on incline for 10 reasy reps, so id assumme 90lbs for 10 at least as barbell is easier...

Pre nutrition is just a normal meal with animal pak, and superpump before my workout... What would you reccomend for before workout meals?

its normal not to be able to do the same weight through three exercises unless you are holding back on the first few exercises.  you are exhausting the muscles, so by the time you get to your next exercise, they will be fatigued.  if you are concerned about the weight you are lifting for the other exercise, every 4-6 weeks you should change your routine up.  instead of doing flat first, do incline or decline first, ect.  this will help bring lagging parts of your chest up in size and it will help with your strength.  good luck

Thanks, I'm going to try doing flat and then less weight inclince. Than the week after and start with incline and see how it works.
