De-Furring the Dawg

    After some thought, I decided to loos the hair. I got a lotion for ease of use. Directions said put the stuff on and wait 5-10 minutes, But no more than 10. Easy enough. So I trimmed down the long hairs, put the lotion on and waited the full 10 minutes. I tried taking off the hair, but it would budge. I hopped in the shower, got the lotion off, grabbed a razor, and shaved both of my arms. So here are the before and after of my arm. Chest, back and legs are going to have to wait until tomorrow. I need new razors. Now I have to tan.

Once I get it all off I think a good hair remover cream can cut it closer so I don't have to worry about it but maybe once a week...hopefully.

Once every 3-4 days my man.  I hate shaving my arms.  I think I may try using my sisters Veet.

  Veet eh? I was going to run out and get Nair and a couple others and just smear myself up. I'll put Veet on the list. Going to wait a til this weekend. Would hate to have my skin freak out from all this remover stuff on it.
  I was out lifting bricks and dirt in my garden today. You can really see the veins popping through the skin now. I still feel that I look like a tubby Baby. This will take some getting use to. I just have to keep reminding myself...Hey! Arnold don't have hair and he is older than you.

its great though them fortunate hairless people always look more pumped or always bigger..yes the cream sounds better them razor burns would really suk.. now do the yard work and get that deep down tan.

Shave your shoulders too.  You missed a spot.

I missed alot. Back, chest, shoulders. I have not even begun to do my legs yet. I'll work on it all this weekend.

I used nair once, was a big mess all the hair that came off.  I pretty much gave up the completely no hair look a few years ago.

Funny stuff, carefull with the Nair....you'll end up with more hair in the long run.   I gave up that a while ago, have to actually have the ole lady "trim" my back after years of using nair.

No nair did not make you grow more hair... That is not possible... Your grew more hairy over the years, and did not realize it, or notice it till you stopped removing it, regularly.

Wetdawg, spend the money and just get waxed... it's easier, no maintenance,last a ton longer, and you'll probably even have a cute girl doing it for you. the waxing that is...oh just get your mind out of the gutter.

you can always take some motrin or tylenol before you get waxed...it helps the pain some.

Don't have a few beers before you get waxed, or you'll bleed a LOT.

I always thought about getting waxed but it's damn expensive.  $12 an arm and $25 a leg.  $40 for anything my underwear covers.  That's $114.  Which is about $100 more than I'm willing to spend.

Unfortunately, I am Sicilian (adopted and raised by a German), I have the misfortune of needing to wax my chest, stomach, chin and face... yeah real cute I know... And you do know EXACTLY what a brazilian wax means riiiiight??? Women do that all the time, so I don't wanna hear that you back is more sensitive then that...

LOL, Not saying I'm sensitive, Just have so much. Getting a tatoo will probably bother me less. ok ....maybe I am sensitive.....I will have the wife do my legs though. I'll let you know how it goes after this weekend. Just the sound of the waxed paper being pulled off reminds me of the listening to drilling sounds waiting to see the Dentist when I was small...Yikes!

Well Ladies,
  I ended up going into work today. So I did not get a chance to rip the hair off my body. I did get a wax kit. Got wax, wood sticks and cloth like paper. I'm all set to go tomorrow. I will have pics. Before wax, waxed, papered and after the pull. No Movies with sound!

Just thinking about the whole process makes me shudder. I once did threading for the hair connecting my eyebrows and that in itself was a nerve wracking experience. I will have a cardiac arrest if I try to get the whole body done.

Its done! Im smoother than a babies behind. I got a Nair wax kit. Peach scented..ewwww. I heated the wax up as directed, spread it out on my leg, put a paper strip on it, and PULLED!

It is not that bad. The most sensitive areas have to be upper lip (which y'all dont do) sometimes a bikini wax (shaving is the best for that area)


take a pain killer. it will help!

see, it wasn't sooooo bad... better than the chemical burn smell, that comes with using the creams (although peach scent.... usually yucky)... just remember to exfoliate, when you wash, scrub your skin hard, with either a rough cloth, or something with texture, you might get ingrown hairs, otherwise.

Thanks HW. I'll have to scrub down tonight. Peach wasn't to bad. When i was done I wanted to get all dressed up and go out on the town...LOL
