I thought that I would start a training journal to keep me motivated. In October 2005 I was 109 pounds overweight. I got on the Atkins diet and lost 61 pounds. During that time I started lifting weights again. My attitude towards weight loss changed from just wanting to lose weight to wanting to transform my body. I have been lifting weights and running for a couple of months now. I am going to switch over to the 40:40:20 diet. I want something that will help my body to put on muscle. Low carb is great for losing weight but not for putting on muscle. I have been lifting at home. I have a Bowflex and the Bowflex select tech dumbbells. I have been having good success so far but I want to change my body. I have started taking Creatine, Muscle Milk, NO2 pills and CLA. I will post my work outs and what I am eating. As I get more towards my goals I will post some progress pics. Please stop in and say Hi! I could use the encouragement!!
