Yes, I'm a short, stocky and husky bull. I am insulin resistant and have Metabolic Syndrome (yes, there really is such a thing). I'm a weightlifter, obviously, and have started to get back into cardio to get the fat off. Goal is about 14% and 200-205 lbs.
I hear that for people with insulin resistance, the best route to follow is extremely low carbs (no grains, taters, etc. just vegs) ala ckd. So I am doing ckd and hoping to lose the fat and get the Metabolic Syndrome and insulin resistance eliminated.
The two pics show the difference in 11 years of working out. In the first pic I was about 137 lbs.
