DOMS = growth (?) - Monday, September 14, 2009 12:14 PM ( #1 )
ok so i've been training for some time now around 2 years although only recently just began with the eating properly about 6 months ago and i've noticed something:

i have massive shoulders, forearms, back and chest in comparison to my biceps + triceps.

my shoulders, back and chest i always get DOMS in them and they grow, but biceps + triceps i NEVER get DOMS in and they don't seem to grow in proportion

getting kind of worried since my torso is starting to look out of proportion to my small bi's + tri's!!!

another thing is that my shoulders attach like half way down my arm so i think they take a lot of the work than my bi's and tri's

has anyone had any experince or suggestions?

should I try to bring my bi's and tri's up with isolations to ensure they are being worked fully??

another thing is that I have short/high bicep and tricep attachments which doesn't help!1!

thanks

futurebeast,
    If you don't mind, throw up a pic or two.  Sounds interesting.  My arms are good size and I don't think I put much work into them at all.  But then my lat spread and legs are my Achilles' heels.  Curls and skullcrushers (+dips) low reps high weight have been working for me.  Good workin' out!  :)

its most likely caused by damage to the connective tissue, but DOMS does not mean growth like n$ already stated

Are you implying your shoulders do what your biceps and triceps should do cause it goes down your arm?  Would be impossible for it to perform the function bending or extending your elbow.

Also need some pics, if you are worried about skinny limbs you could maybe cut, more fat is stored on the torso than limbs in most people.
