Hey. I love deadlift. I do it once a week in the leg and back training day. But after the training i feel a pain in my waist. Is it because i have newly began the dealift or what is its reason? Can anyone help me in? Do you also feel the pain in your waist after the dealift workouts? Thanks.

ORIGINAL: Lynx100 Need more details to help u out - where abouts on the waist is ure pain - front back side? what kinda of pain? is there any shooting pain down ure leg? does anything make it better or make it worse? any numbness/tingling? etc etc It is my back. Lower back. lowest back can also be said. It is just a normal pain and benting down makes it worse. After some days of deadlift, the pain goes.

got the same thing. Its more of a stiffness then pain. And its not like I have a bad back because I use PERFECT form when I DL. Most of the time I use a belt too. But really I wouldnt worry too much bout it. Maybe work ur abs abit and try traiing light weights without a belt. I found that makes it less stiff. I also would try doing some lower back stuff such as glute/ham.
