Lol, that's awesome, snatchula!

Srsly I too am thinking of giving DC a go soon.  I'm looking for an easy-reading resource I can just print out and read.  I've started looking over Dante's threads on Intense Muscle but he seems to do more p1ssing and moaning than he does teaching people his methods.  Is there a good resource that cuts to the chase w/o all the BS?  Thx!

ok two questions...Since the last rep of every set as to be negative I guess its better to go on a machine? and since he says not to do flat bench, shouldnt I do one incline and one decline exercice for full chest training?... And whats the static hold?

Are you doing the MWFM  upper/lower program?  How many exercises are you supposed to do for each body part (one I'm guessing).  I understand you mix up the exercises from workout to workout.  In other words perhaps a press move on Mon and a flye move on Fri.  What set and rep scheme are you using and for what exercises.  Understand for legs you can go lower reps to increase weight?  You do a 6 to 8 rep set but also are supposed to do a 20 rep widowmaker?  I'm slowly learning the principles of DC (rest pause, controlled negatives, etc.) but I've yet to find a complete readable resource on it.

Good workin' out!  :)

If you do the program as laid out then you would switch the exercises each week.

Example, the first week you'd start with a chest exercise like flat bench presses, then the next time you train chest it'd be with inclines, then rotate back to flat. It allows you to increase the progressive overload, incorporate movement variation and you'll get overall gains.

I like the upper/lower split. Since I'm on the keto, I've been doing this.

Weekend- Carb up
Monday- Heavy Upper/HIIT
Tuesday- Heavy Lower
Wednesday- HIIT
Thursday- Light Upper/LISS
Friday- Light Lower/LISS

That's just how I do. With the "heavy" days I train with about 12-15 total rest pauses, on light I normally try to reach around 20.

Just a suggestion, but I would do quads, hams, and glutes before I would biceps and triceps. The release of testosterone from squats and deadlifts would have positive carryover into the biceps and triceps training as you pump the blood filled with testosterone into the muscle.

I've tried a lot of programs- Max-OT, never really followed HST as it goes but plan to my next bulking cycle, HIT, but I believe strongly DC is the best thing you can do. The low volume allows incredible strength gains while the rest pause trains your type 1 and 2 fibers just like a high volume training routine would. After cutting, I'm going to switch to Max-OT again and then do HST.

just remember that you dont have to follow this routine to a T. You can just take the principles of the program and modify it to what results you are trying to achieve. I personally dont agree with a lot of aspects of DC training.

But i love rest pause style training and i have made my own workout plan centered around it
Current: 19, 5'11", 190@7%

bench:305 squat:370(atg) deadlift:475
Goals: 4plate squat, 5plate dead

Yeah I agree with Daniel, using the rest pause is what really makes the routine effective, you don't have to do the routine as Dante laid out. Personally I'd prefer an upper/lower split or full body routine with the DC principles. You'll be amazed with the results of the rest pause though.
