Goals:

#1 and most important. Lose an inch to an inch and a half off of my waist/hips (hopefully this will lead to an overall decrease in body fat)

2. Learn how to fire my pecs and lats bc i have trouble flexing them on command

Again, I couldn't come to terms with loosing strength in order to have a noticeable 8 week drop in body fat.  The Bf was on board, I couldn't woman up to it.

Ive been forcing myself to do wind sprints at a basketball court...they do indeed suck.

I start in a 40yd dash stance tho so its also letting me get practice starting out.

I've dropped 4% (I know right?!) in 6 weeks and stayed flat or a little higher in lifts. It's possible. You just have to fuel up really well around lifting time and do a whole lot of cardio - at least that's the way I'm going about it.

You don't have to lose strength when cutting BF.  I've been doing a strict strength routine, and have dropped 3% BF or so already, and most of my lifts have either stayed the same, or gone up.

it is possible.

Holy CRAP!!!

I'll keep that in mind.

I am just soooo close to having my lifts at a place where I feel they are respectable (for my personal ideals, and pertaining only to me), and the thought of stalling out now.... I just, just couldn't do it. Especially since i have been working so hard on my form recently, and finally (for the most part), feel that I have everything down, and can start uping my squat, at a better rate that I had been able to do in the past.

I think i also have a weird metabolism, I get sleepy after I eat (no matter what it is that I eat, although carbs are the worst for me in terms of energy), soo I fuel up, and then immediately zonk out.

I know my slow road is slow.

I can't gain strength on a cut, at maintance yes but not on a deficate. My body just doesn't work that way.

I haven't had a serious serious cut in a while, however, it is something I will do again at some point, but not now.

so its mah birfday... taking today off at the gym, and probably won't make it this weekend either haha. Got a tooth pulled, so I took 2 days off from that... I basically just took a week off after going steady for about 9 weeks. But starting monday, it's on like donkey kong till the summer's out, then I just have to hope I keep at it at school with all the extra work and shiz.
