There’s no need for a long drawn out review with me telling you how great this tasted. Maybe you’d like me to describe Cytosport Pure Protein in terms of a wine review? Savory hints of raspberry and almond with a green apple flavor on the way down? Forget it. Here’s the scoop.

Cytosport released a Protein line of drinks with all kinds of flavors. At the time I’m posting this it comes in Tangerine, Tropical and Watermelon.

they also make a sports drink cytomax that doesnt taste as good as gatorade but has massive carbs, minimal sugar, and "reduces lactic acid 40% during and after excersize". it actually works

Agreed.  Taste is subjective.  I persoanlly think Gatorade tastes like lite sugar water.  Cytomax works for me but I like a bit more of a bite in my drinks.

You may like this protein drink.  I've got a few (or had a few) in the fridge and it worked well for gym days when I need a quick 40g of protein after the workout but didn't have time to pack or create an optimal post-workout meal.  And it's a tasty treat too when you get tired of shakes and such.

You'll still have to get your carbs elsewhere.  Gotta get my carbs after a workout.
