CytoSport EvoPro
-
Friday, June 04, 2004 4:35 PM
Anyone tried EvoPro? Its new from CytoSport (makers of MuscleMilk). I just got some and it seems pretty good (taste wise). I was lookin' for a casein protein and this seemed to fit the bill. Less calories then normal MuscleMilk and still 26g of protein per scoop. Mix it with milk before bed. Any comments of the stuff?

Anyone tried any other flavors? I have the chocolate. I guess they offer it in Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Apple, Pineapple, Melon, Tropical, and Berry. Something about fruit flavored proteins seems kinda strange to me but I guess. I just got some ON Cookies and Cream protein too but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Anyone tried it? Opinions?

I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they released that crap in the wild, but it is not good. I would compare it to marinating fish guts in gasoline, and then trying to cover up the flavor with a bit of vanilla and sugar...

Great, and I have 5lbs of it. I asked the lady at the store if she had heard anything about it and she said "people say it's nice to have something other then vanilla or chocolate". Guess I'll have to use it up as quick as posible. I've only used the ON vanilla and strawberry in the past. Are the chocolate and chocolate mint good?

ON chocolate and chocolate mint are the best tasting IMO then comes vanilla but strawberry I havent tried . EvoPro`s C&C is quite good actually. btw dont listen to the people who work at the store they`ll just say anything so they can sell it , just do some research on the net before you buy

I was buyin' it either way, just wondered if anyone had said anything about it. If she really had heard bad things, I'm sure she would have said she hadn't heard anything about it. The place I was at (Nutrition City) is very good with product knowledge. The people that work there have used most of the stuff themselves and always recommend good stuff.

I tried the ON Cookies & Cream today and it's nowhere close to how WDNinABQ described it (in my opinion). It just tastes like a weak cookies & cream flavor. It'll be fine for this 5lbs but I'll be hittin' up the chocolate. Still likin' the CytoSport EvoPro chocolate with milk before bed.
