Cutting for Beginners

I would go into the whole scientific stuff to explain you how the cutting process happens with cortisol this, catabolic effects that; but this is Cutting for Beginning teens and I will tell you how to cut in a short read with very simple steps.

People think doing ab exercises will help them lose fat around their waist, well they are wrong, exercising only helps you out about 10-15 percent of the way. The 2 biggest parts of cutting are dieting and cardio.

Dieting:
You obviously need to cut the calories shorter then the needed calories to maintain but you cannot just jump from a 4000 calorie diet to a 2000 calorie diet and hope to keep the results. Your body will respond in a way you do not want it to. You first need to find out your daily caloric intake then take out about 500 calories to lose weight in a healthier way.
You will need to cut down on the carbs since carbohydrate is the first source of energy. When your using energy, carbs are being used, once the carbs are done, then comes the fat that will be burned for energy. Firstly be really careful on the amount of sugar you take in. Sugar is a carb, so you need to cut that way down. You need to take a step back on the bad fat foods and keep away from all bad fats such as saturated fat and trans fat. While you watch the amount of carbs you take in, you will need to stay with your daily high protein to maintain and keep the muscle that you have. With all this, it is also very important to get all your daily nutrients. While your cutting down on on the calories, this does not mean that you will have less meals a day. You need to have 5-6 small meals daily. Having 6 meals a day will keep your metabolism high. Drinking a good amount of water is really important, water is essential when dieting.

Cardio:
Cardio is the key to lose the fat.
Do your cardio 4-5 times a week at least 25mins a day, but do not overtrain by running an hour, which i doubt you can do anyway.
There are many good cardio's you can do, including running, swimming, jump rope, working on the heavy bag, and even walking. Walking is recommended for obese people that have just started taking care of their body. You need to start slowly and not just try to jump into a intense cardio.
Best time to do cardio early in the morning before you eat. Why? because you have no carbs in your system and what will you be using when your running? FAT.

Couple Pointers:
Get at least 8 hours of sleep
Stay Positive
Stay away from Stress
Do not eat before going to bed - reason- your metobolism is slow when resting

first you need to find out your neccesary daily calorie intake to maintain your weight.  lift the same as you did when you were bulking so you won't lose those hard earned strength gains.  Then eat about 300 cals less than your maintain weight calorie level.  If you are lifting hard.. cutting will be easier because you will be burning more cals a day.  So you could cut out a drink here and there or a small sandwich each day and you would lose a pound about every 12 days.. if you wanted to lose faster go for 500 cals less than target.  That is a pound every 7 days. But don't go lower than 500 or else you are endangering losing some strength.  oh yeah and weightlifting will not stunt your growth.  It may be bad for the joints if done incorrectly but other than that it's a great way to stay in shape.

stud4life- 6% bodyfat is unhealthy.. 7% is the bare minimal gain a couple pounds and get to about 8 or 9%.. if you don't like how your abs will look do more ab workouts.
