So here's the "skinny" :)
I'm about 165lbs and trying to gain muscle/weight, trying to get up to around 170-175. However! Halloween is just around the corner and my Girlfriend and I want to go to a sexy halloween party. I'd like to tighten up the look of my abs before then. I was wondering if I could get some advice on nutrition and maybe excercise as well. Here's a little about what I've been doing/eating.
(I'm in the Army eating out of a chow hall so I eat the same thing pretty much everyday..lol)
(if I don't eat chicken I have fish, but if they're serving baked chicken thats what I have. It's usually a leg and part of the breast.)
0530 Muscle milk nutrition shake (230 cal.)
0630 3-6 eggs (depending on how many I can smuggle :) )
1 piece of wheat bread
1130 chicken
rice
mixed veggies
salad (olive oil/viniger)
1430 Muscle milk shake
1530 Weights or cardio
1700 Chicken
potatoes or rice
mixed veggies
salad
2000 muscle milk shake
I also drink about 60+ oz of water a day.
Cardio is usually a 3 mile run. Although tonight I did weight training at 1430 and cardio (elipticle) at 2000 for 30 minutes. Avg heart rate 140bpm.
I should also note that I just did dead lifts for the first time ever today lol and I don't normally do squats but I'm going to start. (I've just always been afraid of hurting my back)
