I have always been athletic, playing sports etc. but this past year after getting an office job with long hours things have just gotten bad... I need some serious critique's and/or advice on what you all think I should do to get into fitness shape! Thanks a lot! right now I am 5'5" and 150lbs. yikes! Are you trying to get more definition in your legs or gain mass?

OK, blondie saves the day again! lol Maybe I should have read your post a little closer! haha! I take it you're trying to get definition since you say that your leg workouts make you gain mass. Try hitting lighter weights with more reps. It will help you tone rather than gain mass. I have the exact opposite problem. I've always been more on the skinny side and I have the hardest time gaining weight! I just spent probably almost 4 months trying to bulk up and I'm finally at the point to start cutting. For the past 4 months, I've been hitting heavy weights to get bigger. It's the best feeling when I'm at the gym with as much weight on the leg press as the guy next to me! haha I'm only 5'2", 113! I love lifting heavy, but I want to get the definition I had before I started bulking. So instead of maxing out weight, I'm going to drop weight and increase reps. Give it a try for awhile and let me know how it works for you!
