Critique my "casual" work out build - Saturday, May 09, 2009 2:39 PM ( #1 )
[font="verdana; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; white-space: pre-wrap; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 1px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 1px; "]I'm currently 18. 5'11" 155-160 lbs, depending on how much I ate for dinner =P Anyways, I only go to the gym like 2-3 times per week. I do tri, bi, pec, back, n abs. I only do a lil leg, cause my leg is ripped. I dunno why it is tho... Yeah, can you just rate my results? Lol yeah these are "results", not "before" photos. I've seen some of the "before" photos here and they ppl are already hella built in my opinion. I've been working out for almost.... 10 months now. I seem to be stuck at this build. Also stuck on the amount of weights i can lift at the gym. While I don't have before photos, just lemme say i'm an azn gamer nerd with glasses. You think about it. Any comments, no matter how rude, will be greatly appreciated, as long as it really reflects on what you think about the photos. THX! Me not flexing. Me flexing. Me not flexing. ME flexing. Also, can you guys tell me how I can get bigger biceps? And abs. Rite now I just do inclined plane sit ups wit a 10lb weight behind my head, and I curl 60-80lbs barbell. @ 60 = 3*8 reps MAX @ 80 = 2 reps max
Also, what is my bf %? What is the best bf% to have?

ok :) u remind me of one of my close nerdy friends. anyways...

Basics :

You can not build a Skyscraper without laying a strong enough basement. Similarly you can not build a great upper body without building a very strong lower body.

Details in here :

Some more excellent articles :

Gain Muscle - http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=111173

Lose Fat - http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=111175

By the time you're done reading those posts I guess yu will be good to roll nice and strong.

Also I would highly recommend that you start a Journal in here to keep a track of your workout and diet. It will help you a long way to stay motivated and focussed, not to mention, pushes your progress on your face.

Good luck!

aite sounds good...
i'll summon my powers of nerd rage n lift for realz!

and
quote: "My legs are already big, and I don't want them to get bigger."
Your legs, if you don't work them, are most likely big because they're fat. You need to work them to help get rid of some of that fat.  unquote

i'll post a pic of my legs...
n see what you think

and when you posted the link to the lose fat article...
i need to lose even more fat?!

no idea. check your bodyfat %. i guess it should be really low. you are quite thin. IMO u should eat all the time and put on some mass. put on clean mass and not a dirty bulk by eating junk. split meals and all that and you would do good in 6-7 months. infact you are not obese to start with and thats a good start. many of us had to struggle through mind numbing cardio, more than normal to get rid of excess fat and still continue to struggle to maintain single digit bf%.
dont drink alcohol a lot. drink a bit and cut it out there. affects your strength and eventually ur muscle gains.

No you shouldn't lose body fat. You are a little guy. You need to be eating and lifting heavy compounds and quit worrying about "teh abz and teh bicepz" until you get some muscle mass. I hate to be mean, but if you didn't start at 120 pounds 10 months ago, this isn't much results.

To answer your question of why you are stuck.. re-read your title.

For an ecto getting 20-30lbs in a year is something to be proud of.
