I can't see anything wrong with whey, it's just good quality protein after all. Creatine, well, yeah it makes you a little bigger and a little stronger, but the effects go away when you stop taking it. It's not a hormone or anything, so it's not going to mess up your hormone balance while you mature. I use creatine just when I want to "plump up" my muscles for photos or something.

I just type "creatine for teens" on google search and every link I click on says that no studies have shown that creatine doesnt have effects on LONG TERMS for teenagers. Not one link recommends it for teens.

There is whey protein in alot of the food you eat on a normal basis. Supplementing with whey is no different then having a few extra servings of protein in your normal diet. It's just extra protein...what possible effects could it have? Maybe if you don't drink enough water, you could get slightly dehydrated i guess but I don't see anything else

Long term, whey is just food. For creatine, no one really knows. No long-term studies have been done, and none are going to be done. No one in a position of accountability is going to recommend that teens take creatine, because if somehting does turn up years from now, that person would be blamed. Many teens ARE taking it though.

i am drinking mine with warm milk...mixed with a blender if i have time, or else its chunky... as for the dosage, you should research... i have feeling all the bottles say waaay more than one should be taking.. and what about its effects on the liver? i am only taking it 2-3 times a week ...once i find out if its ok on liver i'll probably take it everyday.

creatine in teenagers is pointless, especially if you want to put on a good amount of size and make it last. i am 17 and took it for about three months, i felt a lot bigger but its only water weight and isnt really your true size. As soon as i stoped taking it i lost five pounds and my arms looked smaller to me. If you want to look a litte bigger a need a boost in energy its the route to go i suppose. i stoped using creatine and now am only taking a weight gainer and lifting hard. I also am drinking around three shakes a day and have noticed a gain in weight as well as energy. Stay away from liquid creatine, it does nothing. And 8pac there is no shrinkage.
