I Used to take my creatine with orange juice, but now i take a supplement that is mixed with milk, so i have been adding my creatine too to the concoxtion LOL, but i think i remember reading about NOT to mix creatine with milk, but cant find the article, so ids this correct ? If so, why ? Cheers....

I searched.. I found nothing on this. I know milk and ZMA don't mix.. calcium but I found nothing that says milk and creatine are a bad combo. Maybe it's not the best sugar for spiking.. but I never saw anything that said it would negate or make it less effective. I think Twin Peak's answer to mix creatine with dextrose is best. There is a post about making your own creatine transport system. Which is basically what is recommended. But nothing about milk being bad.

Its not that its counterproductive, it just isn't ideal. Lactose, the sugar in milk, is low GI and not what you want to drive creatine in the musle. You want insulin, best spiked by dextrose or maltodextrine.
