Creatine has very little side effects if any. I hear people say all the time that creatine is bad for you.....its not. Creatine is not at all bad for you..Creatine is a great postworkout supplement to increase size and speed recovery...especially helpful if used in the monohydrate unflavored form and mixed in with some form of high quality whey protein. It is essential that you drink plenty of h2o when taking creatine to help with absorption. Loading is recommended but not mandatory...some ppl like the load phase...others dont. Its all about personal preference but yes get on some good creatine mono powder if your just starting out b/c the esters tend to get more expensive and there's not much SCIENTIFIC proof out there that there any better...peace.

hey i got a quick questions. I noticed this morning when taking my usual supp's that the creatine had quite a bit of cholesterol, almost a quarter of whats recommended daily for a 2000 calorie diet. Of coarse I'm not on a 2000 calorie diet but, is it the good cholesterol or the bad cholesterol? Thanks

no one has been able to anwser this yet...

Creatine pumps up the muscle by keeping water in and doing "something" with potassium with in the cells..
Now thats skelatal muscle....

What about CARDIAC muscle??? "Swollen heart muscle"??? Possible issue for those with any heart type related problems?

Does taking Creatine effect ALL muscle groups within the body???

Thanks
Kutch

creatine has been shown to slightly effect cardiac muscle, more importantly though it has been shown to strengthen it rather then "swell" it. Creatine has also been shown to reduce cholesterol by up to 30%

creatine will aid in strength gains, maybe not right away, but it will if you stick to it.  It will also give you a great pump.  Much better pump than nothing.  I took 1 TSP before and after each w/o and loved it.  My gains went up 10-15% after about 2 weeks. I will go back on soon, I am just cycling off of it to clean up inside a little.  Keep in mind I used Monohydrate as opposed to the new stuff which will help quicker, but I dont see it being worth all the extra money. Hope this helps
