i dont think that it hinders absorption, i think its because orange juice is acidic and it converts the creatine to creatinine quicker.  im not 100% sure on that though, just ignore me til someone confirms it

 I'm a major Noob. Would someone want to use creatine if they were trying to lose fat but mantain muscle at the same time?

I will say it is hard to cut on creatine as you will gain weight with it, gain water with it, and also lose some definition to the water. I mean the latter is what I really use to guage how I am doing while cutting

I think this myth arose from the good old days when people thought citric acid might deteriorate the creatine. Stomach acid (HCL) is pH=2 and I have a article which shows monohydrate can withstand that for a few hours.

It's a myth and as Twin Peak said... erase it from your mind.

While I dont think ill be doing that anyway, Im a creatine and water guy myself, its always nice to disprove myths like that
