HBF,
Are you trying to bulk?  The first hour after I wake up I probably drop about four deuces.  Again the coffee gets rounds 2 & 3 going, then round 4 when I get to the gym.  And then 2 or 3 more times during the day.  I'm a machine!

Sounds to me like the coffee gives you a touch of IBS.

this is a little off topic am not on keto but i go 2 to 3 times a day i think that's why i've quit tryin to gain weight an focus on liftin more

I sh*t 3 times a day as well.  Like clockwork.  It depends on the consistency of your sh*t, but, one sign that you have excellent digestion is that you go around 30 minutes after each major meal.  I think I read that if your digestion is really good you should be pushing out at least 12 inches of sh*t each day

The tape measure truly is a BBer's best friend!  Just one more stat to "log" in my journal!  ;)

My diet's crap.  Get it, crap?!  I crack myself....
Seriously, it could be a lot better.  Lots of complex carbs (cereal, bread, rice, potatoes).  Lots of whole milk too.  Try to do leaner meats (chicken, lowfat burger).  I must confess I indulge too much w/butter, protein shakes and a good size gainer shake a day.  Also could do a lot better to get more veggies down (Sorry, veggeep!).  All I know is since I've started trying to put on weight the pumpernickel maker has added a 3rd shift.

lol.

Its probably the carbs. When I used to eat a lot of them, the toilet was my part time job. Then again, I am a tiny bit lactose intolerant and I drank a gallon of milk every two days, so yeah.

psyllium Husk supplements are the way forward whether your constipated or too "loose". Great source of fibre and has a binding effect!

I go low carb pretty much all the time to stay lean/make weight.....its a god send.

JMBS: Too much caffiene makes your small intestine secrete more mucus which if not somehow re absorbed makes you go.....alot. May be having your coffee to strong!!

I don't think the coffee's strong.  I do start drinking it 1st thing on an empty stomach though.  Don't get the feeling I'm doing myself any harm.  Thought it was normal.  I'll google it because, you know, everything on the net's true.

From Wikipedia:
Laxative/diuretic
Coffee is also a powerful stimulant for peristalsis and is sometimes considered to prevent constipation. However, coffee can also cause excessively loose bowel movements. The stimulative effect of coffee consumption on the colon is found in both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee.[23][24]
Practitioners in alternative medicine often recommend coffee enemas for "cleansing of the colon" due to its stimulus of peristalsis, although mainstream medicine has not proved any benefits of the practice.
Contrary to popular belief, caffeine does not act as a diuretic when consumed in moderation, and does not lead to dehydration or to a water-electrolyte imbalance; current evidence suggests that caffeinated beverages contribute to the body's daily fluid requirements no differently than pure water does.[25][26][27][28]

Caffeine is a powerful GI stimulant.  Those with IBS should stay away from it.  Those who don't have IBS can get symptoms of it because the caffeine causes the nerves in the gut to go haywire and cause muscle spasms or cramps, etc.

I'd try eating a little oatmeal before drinking your coffee.  The soluble fiber in the oatmeal creates a gel and actually calms down GI muscle spasms.  Soluble fiber is good for both diarrhea and constipation.

That's why you hear a lot of people complaining about the sh*ts when they are taking pre-workout supps like SuperPump250, etc.

HBF,
I take my coffee black no sugar.  It's the coffee itself that's "main ignition start" for me.

for me, coffee does it much more than other sources of caffeine.  tea, energy drinks, caffeine pills... no problem.  but sometimes just one good cup of coffee is enough to put me on the toilet.  what a conversation!

ROFLAO Im trying hard not to break wind with that conversation!!

Ya gotta answer me this though..............Does your **** stink???

No, really, I read that if it does stink, kind of like the food you have eaten, then its not digesting long enough and your not pulling enough nutrients out of the food since it passes too quickly.

Man, what a conversation. Sad thing about it is that its a natural topic. Also quite expensive.
