Couple of random questions? - Friday, November 25, 2005 1:17 AM
I am new to the forum and there might be already topics about the questions that I am going to ask but... anyhow...

1. Is it better to do less sets with heavier weights or more sets with smaller weights?

2. How does the rest between each set excatly work? 30 secs? more or less? And what if you need more time?

3. Is there any chance of getting fat from protien shakes if you are on a diet and not working out?

4. Which is a better cardio? Running fast but for a short period of time or running slow but for a longer period of time?

5. Is running on a treamill any better than on a track or vice versa?

6. Is it ok to do cardio for half an hour and then work out? or do it on seprate days?

Some of these question mite sound stupid but I am new to the world body building so I have no clue. Thank you in advance.

well it really depends on your goals.  running alot is good in cutting season,  lifting heavy weight low reps is good with strength training and small weight lots of reps is good at cutting i guess also.  i don't really run so much when im bulking.  you can get the answers to these questions all over this website and on google search etc.. just look around.  goodluck
