And a wee suggestion from the produce section:

Drop a date in your title, next to that claim of "New Pics", so we know when the last pic update was.  You're such a tease, I never know if you really posted or not
Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

AHAH... I didnt realize that... I took the new pick part off, now in a week or so there should be some new ones up, I wannt get through 2X chest night, shoulder night, and legs night before I post anymore... I have not lost loads of weight since last pics either... I am hovering around 216 right now and have stalled...

Z as far as the lifting goes Ive taken some time off since last wednesday.... I have had absolutely no time this weekend to go, since the kids club closes at 1:00PM on weekends, this week I have a "Team building" with my employee's tonight, Santa at the zoo tomarrow night... Jury duty the day after.... so looks like the gym will have to wait until the night after jury duty.... End of year sucks.... every jerk and their mom decideds to try to cram any meetings they can between the hours of 6:00AM and 7:00PM... and most of those meetings are a 5HR round trip to phoenix for me..

I really needed the time anyways, a bit ago I really jacked up my Ham's and traps and got my meds messed up... plus giving my shoulder a bit of a rest.... I want to come back hard thursday and get back in the grove, ever since I went out of town I have been off beat with this...
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

End of year sucks.... every jerk and their mom decideds to try to cram any meetings they can between the hours of 6:00AM and 7:00PM... and most of those meetings are a 5HR round trip to phoenix for me..

I feel ya.  Some a-hole thought it would be cute to pull a "brown bag" meeting yesterday with three hours notice, and I had to put my upper body workout off until I got home at 4:30.  As expected, the meeting was a complete, unmitigated waste of time.  I had no reason to be there at all.  And, when it ran 15 minutes over, and the a-hole who convened it in the first place started to wrap it up with "well, unless anyone has any other questions...", predictably, our very own office Goody Two-Shoes piped up, "well yes, actually, I have a couple of items I want to..."

"Good for you, bro." I interrupted, "Take those offline -you're already over budget."  And with that, I grabbed my laptop and walked out unapologetically.  Everyone got a big heaping scoop of "Back the f**k up!" from me for the rest of the day after that.

I could tell the guy sitting next to me was pissed about that little stunt (calling a lunch meeting) too, 'cause he's also a Muscle Mutt.  And when he voiced his disgust at what a waste of time this meeting was, I told him, "Tell me about it.  I'm missing my workout for this sh*t."  He replied, "Me too!"

I guess when you're a parent, you get even more distractions thrown at you during this time of year, but you've got to learn how to put your foot down.  We all do.  I mean really, wasn't it Christmas like, TEN MINUTES AGO?!  I'm starting to feel like Scrooge, "A fine excuse to pick a man's pocket every twenty-fifth of December!"

Face it.  If Christmas can sneak up on you this fast, SO CAN SPRING!  And I'll be damned if I'm gonna let this retarded holiday or my idiotic coworkers run me off the Hypertrophy Highway!
Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

Man Greg,

Sorry I didn't see the first post you sent.

Its been a rough few weeks, got this horrid stomach flu, pulled my shoulder pretty bad on the last workout I had, and its just been plain busy with not time.

I plan on being back at it Tuesday night... This has been one of the busiest, hardest December's I've had in a while. Thanks for looking after me gents, it is much appreciated.

RE: Coops road to beefcakeness - Saturday, December 23, 2006 4:05 PM
You know after writing this E-mail Ive been thinking about it and since I pulled my shoulder I've been very frusterated.... Its beginning to feel like I cant get back into the groove of working out as I keep injuring myself...

I really need to take Tuesday slow and get back into the groove slow... and drop the weight way down...

I've also been frustrated because I feel as though I have hit a brick wall head on.... Ive got to 215-220 and have stayed here, I haven't really gained anything back in the past 2 weeks except for possibly a pound, which during Christmas week is quite a feat... but I'm just frustrated the weight loss has stopped.... Having vacation, company travel, and just plain being busy has really got me in a rut.... Starting tonight I really need to get back into the game and get my eating to the next level and start the hardcore cutting time... I think my body has caught on to the fact that its lost 85 pounds and I doesn't want to let any more go..

Dunno... either way I'm pissed... and frusterated... and I just need to let this anger carry me through the next few months and 20 pounds.... once I get to 195-200 I will be happier than a sailor at a whore house on nickle night....

I always knew the day of the test would come, and it seems it has arrived..... I just need to make it past it and complete this life change..
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

Don't sweat it, bro.  Some potholes are just to big to swerve around.  Been there a million times

Just get the alignment fixed before the wheels fall of completely, and you should be fine.

Cool!  Glad to see you're still around!!!!!

Yeah, well, life does kick our asses once in awhile.  But we're not going to let you fall of the beefcakeage journey without a fight!

See you Tuesday!

Wootness, back at it again,

I got pissed and just couldnt figure out why I wasnt loseing weight, and honestly didnt want to scrap it and start all over again, but that is what I did... Going back to basics.....

Things I was doing while loseing weight was drinking protien chakes all morning, a decent lunch and shakes in the afternoon and a decent meal, all equaling the number of calories I need, this should cut some carbs and get me back into, feel pretty decent too... although this bout I am starving thoughout the day and really want to freaking eat... oh well, still 215-217 so no weight gain...

Tonight was back, shoulder, and bicep night.... kinda tired and dont want to go in the effing snow... yes,.... snow in tucson... to get my book, but my workout looked like it usually does, just lower weight to get back into it..

Standing rows 12, 10,8
lat pull downs 12, 10, 8
seated rows 12, 10, 8
lat raises 12, 10, 8
preacher curls 12, 10, 8
cable curls 12, 10, 8
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.
