RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Thursday, August 03, 2006 7:34 PM
Forgot to update last nights, honestly after this workout I felt fantastic and really felt like my beefcakeness went up some . But again it may have been the No Explode talking. Had a great night except the biceps, next time I need to do them first as noww that I added the chin up's the last set really kicks my butt.

Shoulder/Back/Bicep:
Pull up assist: 10- (alot of help but only enough to still kick my butt) 6- 20 pounds less, 2 more than last so its an improvment, and this time no horrid sounding poping and cracking, I'm sure in 10-12 weeks it'll be all good, I want to get to 3 sets of 10..

Lat pull downs: 215-12/ 225-10/ 235-8

Lat raises: 90-12/ 100-10/ 110-8

Seated rows: 150-15/ 160-10/ 170-8

Bicep curls: 90-12/ 95-7/ 80-9

Bent over rows: 50-15/ 60-11/ 70-13

Shrugs: 180-20/ 230-12/ 270-11

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Saturday, August 05, 2006 7:37 AM
Good workout tonight, kids stayed at their grandparents so I didnt have to rush at the gym, weigh in day as well 239 24.5% BF, slowly but surely on my way to 20%.
Tonight I took a nerw approach to my workout, Ive been doing mostly nothing but heavy heavy heavy, tonight i figured I would lower the weights on everything  for the next week and then go back to adding heavy..but for now going for rep ranges, felt good tonight, excited to see what the next few workouts bring.

Chest:

Press: 132-12/ 145-10/ 155-8 (didnt know I was going to lower the weight yet )

Incline press: 65-12/ 70-12/ 75-12

Overhead press: 80-12/ 85-12/ 90-12

Tricep extensions: 120-12/ 125-12/ 130-12

Seated Dips: 200-12/ 210-12/ 220-12

abs as usual, as well as cardio...

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Sunday, August 06, 2006 6:05 PM
Happy day at the gym, I don't know what it was but like 3 different people came up to myself and my wife and made comments about how much weight we have lost and how good we are looking, I do note that I am starting to notice alot of defenition in my arms..especially getting some good peaks in my arms, and triceps are starting to stick out alot.. just don't look like 16.5 inch tootsie rolls... so looks like hard work is starting to show.

All this week I have decided to go for reprange and have decreased the weight alot, should be interesting to see how it goes

Back\Biceps

10 assisted pull upsX2 sets, increase the amount of reps by a few again, next shoulder day I am going for 10x3, then its time to start decreasing weight on the assist.

Lal pull downs: 150-12/ 160-12/ 170-12

Seated rows: 90-12/ 100-12/ 110-12

Lat Raises: 65-12/ 70-12/ 80-12

Bicep Curls: 60-12/ 70-12/ 80-12

Shrugs: 180-12/ 230-12/ 280-12

Then the usualy leg raises, crunches, and oblique crunches 20x3 each...
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Monday, August 07, 2006 8:04 PM
Great legs day, looked fvorward to it since... last legs day. With lowering the weight some I was really able to get the burn going.... Sadly used my last scoop of cell mass... but its cool I will stop all of that stuff for a while then start some new cheaper stuff and see if I grow a tail or anything funky like that.

Only problem I had tonight is kind of the same problem I have every legs night, I have a really hard time getting my calves to feel like I am working them, I rarely feel burn with them, its either not nearly enough weight, or to much that it feels like I dont have good form... If anyone reads this and has suggestions I am all ears.

Legs:

Squats: 230-12/ 250-12/ 270-12

Leg Extensions: 180-12/ 190-12/ 200-12

Leg Curls: 110-12/ 120-12/ 130-12

Abductors: 110-12/ 120-12/ 130-12

Adductors: 110-12/ 120-12/ 130-12

Calve Raises: 90-12/ 110-12/ 130-12

Calve Presses: 90-12/ 110-12/ 140-15
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

That's frickin' hilarious dude.  I was just sitting here relaxing and reading your posts and when I read the "grow a tail" part... I think I farted I laughed so hard.  Just thought I'd let ya know.  Good luck and hope you don't come across any crazy side effects.

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Thursday, August 10, 2006 10:54 AM
SO I worked out Tuesday night, but due to the major storms and micro bursts we had lots of poles down, which caused me to work for 40 hours straight without sleep.. didnt get a chance to really post this till now. Actually sleeping last night was nice .

This is the last day of my lighter weight of constant reps, of 12 each set. Honestly feels a bit different and gets me a bit sore, so I guess it was a nice switch up...

Press 90-12, 100-12, 110-12 (My shoulder is starting to act up again on these... even on lighter weight..

incline press 70-12/ 75-12/ 80-12 (shoulder didnt hurt at all)

Overhead Press: 85-12/ 90-12/ 95-12

Seated dips 200-12/ 210-12/ 220-12

Tricep extensions 125-12/ 130-12/ 135-12

Then the usual leg raises/ crunch-oblique crunch combox20- 3 sets

Went home, started dinner just in time to not eat and go to work...

Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Friday, August 11, 2006 9:29 PM
Last night was a reall tough night, it seemed to be my first night with no creatine in my system.... I was back to doing the heavier weight I was doing 5 workouts ago and it was tough as hell.... I had no pump, no nothing... felt pretty weak It was shoulders and I was able to accomplish my 3rd set of pullups but only 5 pullups the last set.... (note to self, dont quit all supps cold turkey at once) I didnt take any caffine, NOX, Cell Mass, or no explode... could feel it

Back SHoulders:
Pull up assists 10, 10, 5
Lat pull downs: 220-12/ 225-8/ 230-7
Lat Raises: 95-12/ 105-10/ 115-8
Seated Rows: 95-12/ 105-10/ 115-8
Bicep Curls: 85-12/ 90-8/ 95-8
Shrugs: 180-15/ 230-12/ 320-10

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Friday, August 11, 2006 9:37 PM
Now tonight kicked ass.. feltalot better than last night, and felt very rechaged, I dont know, could be I was hopped up on diet pills and ephedra, with a massive dose of NOX.... Either way felt killer, could barely wait for my next sets to hit, sweat my ass off, smelled like Nav's litter box, and basically tore the place up..

Stopped by GNC tonight... the AXIS HT is looking better and better to me but I am really trying to resist....

Legs:
Squats: 270-12/ 320-10/ 410-8 (Form on the last 4 stank.... next time I will shoot for 360 max, and work up, I just wanted to bust 400.. which I really didnt I guess)

Leg Curls: 135-12/ 140-10/ 145-8 very good slow and controlled motion

Leg extensions: 225-12/ 235-10/ 255-8

Abductors:160-12/ 170-10/ 180-8

Adductors: 160-12/ 170-10/ 180-8 I have noticed that I am uneven in these areas, the abductors are easier for me to do at this weight, but I have been told not to make an offbalance in this areas otr my feel will point in or outward funky..

Calve press/ standing clave raise superset, no break

Press 140-15 raise 160-15, press 160-12 raise 180-12, press 180-10, raise 200-10... holy crap.... last week I was complaining I wasnt feeling my calves... well I think I found my answer...
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

Have you heard anything good about Axis HT?  I've only seen negative reviews.

Thats part of the problem, I really havnt, but everyone who has it in their best interest that people buy it keep hyping it up, the dude at GNC was like noo, there is no need for any type of liver tabs.... which I have heard alot around here that you need to take em...

I have also heard alot of things about the 17HD, but I havent seen any reviews about it at all...

I think where my whole axis thing comes from is I really responded to no explode and cell mass, so I am assuming this stuff will work as well....

Did you see Misanthropy's write up?  He compared it to other products that promised similar results, and Axis HT was not one he really liked.

RE: Coop's road to sick beefcakeage... - Tuesday, August 15, 2006 5:37 AM
Well, being that I am sick, and also taking the first few days off from the gym that I have had in more than 2 months I figure I will post my measurments, compairing to just 2 months ago, interesting to see how much you can lose in that time.... I cant find the measurments from 4 months ago, but it is huge... Please note that measurment addition is not my cup of tea so I may be wrong on the variences... now if it was hybrid coaxial fiber plant design there would be no issue...

                                          Was          Now            Difference
Bicep/Left(stright unflexed)     14 1/2      13 5/8            -1 1/8
Bicep/Right(Striahgt unlflexed) 14 3/8      13 5/8            -1 1/4
Neck                                   15 5/8      15 7/8            +0 1/4
Chest                                  44 3/4      45                 +0 1/4 (Woot!!)
Shoulders                            51 1/2       51 1/4            -0 1/4
Waist                                 42 3/8       40 5/8            -1 1/4
Hips (Around quads)             Don't know 47 1/4            Probably smaller                Right Thigh                         25 3/4       23 2/3            -1.20 (ok bad at this math..)
BodyFat                              27.4         23.68             3.82%
Weight                               266           233               -33 Pounds

So I am pretty happy with this, but looking at this it seems I may be loseing some muscle with the body fat, cause with 33 pounds lost I think the BF percentage should be a bit higher, also I am concerned with loseing 33 pounds in just over 2 months, Saying that I should have lost 2 pounds a week for 9 weeks that should be somewhere around 19-20 pounds, but according to this I am loseing about 3.66 pounds a week... some of the extra weight is most likely muscle.. time to make sure I am really eating enough again... Also My waiste was at 46 when I started this whole ordeal, so I've lost almost 6 inches there... I figure a few more months then its time to take a spin at bulking, and gain some muscle back..
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat

Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.
