Cookie feature? - Wednesday, June 21, 2006 12:41 PM ( #1 )
I was wondering why the cookie feature doesn't work on this forum, because it never remembers my name and password when Im logging in.

Maybe you have some spyware app removing them?  I use cookies on Firefox in 2 locations and it works flawlessly.

My only guess is your firewall or some anti-virus software is removing them on a scheduled basis.

I have Spyware doctor, Norton, Registry Mechanic, and ad-aware. Which one do you think could be causing the problem?

Just leave it alone. So you have to re-type your password and id every time- It's better than disabling stuff and exposing yourself to viruses. I just had to get rid of my old PC because it had stuff on there Norton's couldn't get rid of. Real pain.
