Coffee... yay or nay?
-
Monday, October 22, 2007 12:12 PM
I've just started using coffee as an energy boost this past month. I have about a cup or more every morning mixed with Fat Free Milk and thats it. From what I've read coffee has absolutely no calories and its actually good for you if you're not adding cream and regular milk in it. Anyway, I'm pretty lean but still trying to cut up so will drinking coffee boost up my heart rate... thus also raising my metabolism which will help me burn some more fat? Or am I completely off track... I'm dieting and lifting/cardio regularly so it's not like I'm depending on coffee alone... just interested in what info anyone might have.

Black coffee with Splenda or another sugar substitute is a good diuretic. A better choice is Green Tea.

Everything is good. And EVERYTHING is bad. The difference between how good and bad a certain food is, depends on how much you take it. Take it excessively, and you're in deep sh!t. Coffee is good. But its a diuretic as well. Take it in moderate amounts and do remember to drink water as well....
It's times like these, you learn to live again...

Coffee in moderation is a great anti oxident as well, but just cut the crap in it... black is the best way to go, if you have a cup, there is far less caffine than a Diet Dr. Pepper.
Eat...Lift....Sleep......Repeat Enjoy the process.. but crave the goal.

And red bull and whey sounds extra nasty, not gonna lie.

Sometimes I use the one at home if I have time or I am not lazy Red bull and vanilla whey is extra good! I dare you to try it!

Yay. I drink both coffee and green tea. In moderation. And I've been eyeing the Dunkin Doughs coffee lately for some reason.
