Never heard of it. Sounds like some new Greek bodybuilder's nickname, LOL
Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

there's a reason why your knees hurts(thus the evolution of a nervous system, in order to tell its host of an injury) that needs to be addressed before you randomly start popping pills. What kind of pain is it? Where is the pain(front of knee/side/back...interior/alterior inferior/superior to the knee joint? If it hurts behind your knee, does it hurt to the inside or to the outside of the knee? Do you experience a clicking in the joint? Does imflammation arise as a result of the pain?

the pain is in the front of the knee. ive had the pain for a good 4 years now. when i started taking flax seed oil the omeg-3 helped the pain a lil bit but whenever i play sports, the pain comes back. theres no clicking sound and i guess theres some inflammation if the omega-3 helped it out

is there a "bump" on your knee...at the very base of the kneecap?

try to vary your squat stance. The same thing happened to me and it was because my outer quads were getting stronger than my inner quads because my stanc e was wide on squats. Try moving your stance out or in a little, or have a trainer look at your form on squats. You could be going below parallel too, but the former is more likely.
