Okay I was wondering do you put bbq sauce on the chicken before or after you put it on the grill?

Cool, I get to sound like a smart ass without really being one.

Yes.

Yes, put it on before grilling.  While grilling, baste it with more.

Yum yum yum.

My dad taught me a nice, simple way to jazz up bottled BBQ sauce.  To a big bottle's worth, add some minced onion (about 1 small), a couple of tablespoons of mustart, and most importantly, a can of beer.  Simmer.  Apply.

I don't use any sauce. Just spices, salt, and drops of oil. At school I eat it with ranch since it's cooked plain without ANYTHING what so ever. Tastes like crap. I used to eat the battered popcorn chicken or chicken patties but they are way too unhealthy.

You're not from the East Coast of the US are you?  When I lived out there, I thought the citizens had a phobia around the salt and pepper shakers.  I never bit into so many unseanoned chunks of meat.  blech!

It is amazing what a little salt and pepper can do, even good olive oil . . .

Good point.

Depends on the recipe.  Surely you want to avoid all the corn syrup sweetened products out there, but a little of the good stuff isn't going to hinder your progress---once in awhile!

all you need is some zataran's blackening seasoning and some mccormick's cajun spice..... great for burgers, steak, chicken, shrimp, anything really!
