Twisted, I think you use genetics as a copout sometimes.

Sometimes? I'm going to say its more of a crutch.

All due respect to Moto...but he doesnt have anywhere near enough muscle for you to determine the shape his chest is going to take. Just keep working hard, eating right and you'll see what you're looking for.

I dont use genetics as a copout, i use genetics where they play a part, and that includes lets think...everything the body does.

Genetics is everything.

then again, prove me wrong yet and stockjockey, id love to see a true 6'6" yet, and id love to see a 560lbs stockjockey.

Genetics arent liked by bodybuilders because it gives the impression that theyre training is limited, so they do away with it.

Unfortunately, and i mean this in the least patronising way possible, i know too much about genetics to simply "wave it to one side" because it would be pure solid ignorance on my part given i get told nearly daily how genetics controls everything nearly and i read nearly every day that genetics is the largest factor in all organisms traits.

But whatever, give the guy false hope that he'll become the next arnold schwarzenegger

i think that maybe you should just consider quiting if you cant get it now you probably will never be able to get it and end up with a bad case of gyno from doing it wrong.

No offense taken..Well a little ha ha..I've been trying to bulk for 3 months..That is my end result..Pitiful really. I've been eating big, training well. Just don't seem to be making use of anything that I'm putting in my body. At one point I was on 4,000cals weight went up but it was just fat across my whole body. My waist has gone up quite a lot, like I know you gain a bit of fat while bulking. But I simply gained fat without the muscle!

Really annoying. Any help on that would be good..Seriously.

Its impossible to flex on the way down because chest flexxing brings the muscles together in the middle, as you go down-the muscles are stretching outwards, so its no surprise youre finding it difficult having a full flex on the lowering of the bar.

I have the same problem as you, its called genetics.

Shape of a muscle is genetic, that includes the shape of the chest, just deal with it, better than having cancer or something.

You can flex during the eccentric portion of the lift how else would negatives work.  To the OP you'll need more muscle mass in the chest to really see a difference and to get those cut lines the bodyfat has to be in check, which is usually the hardest thing.
