Cheap high calorie - Wednesday, February 18, 2009 7:40 PM ( #1 )
do you know any foods that are cheap and have high calories like peanut butter 200 calories a serving?
List foods that are 200 servings and above that are cheap easy to get and easy to get a lot of.

Oh yeah bacon isn't high in caloreis..average slice is 60cals..you'd have to eat 4 to make around 200cals..2 tblspoons of pbutter makes 200.

Thought of a few more
Tinned mackerel / sardines very cheap too
Maybe wholewheat bagels..But they aren't too clean.
Rolled oats 100g gives you like 380cals  add your milk and there's 500ish right there.
Pesto is good, variety made from olive oil not veg oil. Very tasty!

Shots of olive oil are the way to go.  One in the morning right before heading out the door.

I prefer taking a tablespoon of coconut oil, but it's the same idea as shots of olive oil.

Throw some peanut-butter and cinamon on a couple of rice-cakes and you're good to go!  Good, quick calories and protein.

You knew exactly what he meant, yet had to give some sort of smartass response. You've been here a long time. C'mon, we expect better than that!

you cannot bodybuild with cheap food...
You need to vary your protein intake from veal, beef, pork, cheese, milk, eggs, fish....

Even with a bulk...you need protein, for easy calories add some brown rice, patatoes and some butter here and there...

Better answer...

30 out the 40 calories in bacon are from fat. Id say that is pretty high in caloric content. Who eats one slice of bacon anyways?
