Change in session handling? - Sunday, June 10, 2007 7:06 PM ( #1 )
Recently, it seems as if my sessions are getting logged out after a very short time period, a few hours at most. Has there been a change in the way the forum handles sessions?

Not that I know of... the current session timeout value is 20 minutes after the last activity.

So if you log in but don't click anything for 20 minutes, you could be logged off.  But if you save your username and password (at least in FireFox) you get logged in instantly.

Hmm, only seems to be happening on one of my computers... I'll have to see if my cookie file is fouled up or something.

If you have an AV program running, it might be deleting the cookies on each reboot or something.
