lol, good girls/bad girls. so funny that i mis-understood what you were talking about. i'm gonna go light on deads tomarrow as well. i dont think its a good idea to go heavy on them when i have them twice a week. next week its just once so that'll be heavy for sure.

I have both too. It's nice to have the one to tote to the gym so you can look back at what you did last time and on here there's a pressure to perform and improve since other people are watching - at least it's motivation for myself.

Especially if I am making vids of the lift I always have a thing in my head telling me to not miss the lift because lots of people will be watching lol.

Chalky Palms Yea you gotta be careful, its all icy here now and last year was when I broke my ankle from slipping on a patch of ice. I walk like an old lady now whenever there is snow on the ground lol. No way I'm not squatting again for 6 months. What? You did not squat for 6 months because you broke your ankle? How bad was it man? Cause I just broke mine too about a month ago.

It wasn't really just a normal sprain or break, I fractured quite a few bones and tore a lot of muscle. The break healed in a month or two but my ankle was so inflexible that I'd pretty much fall backwards every time I tried to squat.

I screwed my ankle once, it was an instant 10 lb muscle loss. Never play football in a parking lot and hop a planter bed again that's for sure. It wasn't as bad as yours but it looked pretty with the whole side of the foot from the toes to the calf broken blood vessels and all purple.

Yea make sure you are stretching really good beforehand, usually I do a few warmups on the hip add/abductors to losen up and then stretch my hams and calves. I'm a terrible squatter when I don't stretch first.

Are you a wrestler or football player? You have a thick neck there boy. And to both of you do some dynamic stretches beforehand. It'll help a lot.

I wrestled and played football in high school, played a little rugby in college but wrestling and football are just a little too competitive in the Big 10, plus I don't really have time for that anymore.
