The Purdue team plays on the courts with everyone else?  That's pretty cool, especially for how good of a team they are.


It was the first time I've seen any of them play on the regular courts because they have their own facilities.  But now that the season is over I guess it doesn't really matter so a lot of them were out there.  It was pretty cool.

us THREE have similar weight and stats LOL.  well, i used to.  i'll get back up there in no time im sure. 

dawg, i had a VERY SOLID squat day today.  was awsome.  already feeling it!  dude, your meet is comin up pretty soon.  keep pushin that jeep and flippin them bigass tires!

Ha thanks man, I'm still pushing the jeep and tire flippin but the weather here has been horrible, lots of rain and cold.  Hopefully it is nice the day of the contest.

So that site you linked those bands, are they for single bands not pairs? The guys I worked out with paid like 40 bucks for a set of purple bands good quality.

keep up the great workouts.  theres a bench only comp at my gym on the 30th of this month.  not enough time to get where i was i dont think so not gonna do it >.<

i think i am going to.  it wouldnt hurt and it would motivate me even more to throw heavy ass weight around.

Horrible day

Well today was weigh-in day for the strongman comp.  Weigh-ins were from noon to 7 pm.   Got to the gym at noon and weighed in at 207 lbs.....FVCK!  I spent 5 hours running and hitting up the sauna back and forth until finally at 6 pm I weighed in at 197.7.   Very happy I made the 198's and I haven't had water or food since yesterday so I'm going to eat a big steak and drink some ice cold water...mmmm

All in all I lost 10lbs in about 5 hours, not good but I had to do it.

cutting weight is the suck!!  i had to do it a lot in highschool wrestling.  i'm sure you know all the tricks since you wrestled as well.  good to see you made weigh ins at what you wanted!  enjoy that steak!!

Update-  Went to the gym the next day after weigh-ins and was 207 again, gained all 10lbs back lol.  I'm probably 210+ right now.   I won't be posting workouts this week because it is my deload week and I am taking it easy before the comp.
