Casein vs. Blend

Hi, I'm a totally new to the site so please excuse my ignorance. I am trying to get some information regarding whether or not my morning and bedtime proteins should be 100% Casein or a blend of casein, whey, and egg. Specifically, I am talking about Optimum Nutrition's products, 100% Casein which gives 24g of protein per serving or Pro Complex which gives 56g of protein per serving. The prices are identical. My gut tells me that I should buy the Pro Complex because I get more protein per dollar, but I'm not sure. I lift 3 times per week, always hitting Bench, Squat, and Deadlift once a week. I do a day for abs and obliques, and I do some sort of cardio (usually HIIT) 3-5 days per week. I am trying to add muscle and also lose bodyfat, which I know can be difficult but that is my ultimate goal. I'm pretty much trying to maintain my current weight while getting stronger and adding muscle and losing fat. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks in advance.

Most people use casein for bedtime because it digest slowly (you could also use cottage cheese). And whey or a blend is used for first thing in the morning because it digest quickly(or you could just eat some eggs and oatmeal first thing).I personally use the casein at night and whey in the morning because im always in a rush and have to eat on the go.

its extremely difficult to get gram per gram of protein per scoop. so the second brand you mentioned will have two scoops per serving and the first will have one scoop per serving. either way you will have two scoops. i have the optimum nutrition and take two scoops post workout which is the answer i think you wer looking for. OP is best on market IMO.
ORIGINAL: dr j I even found one site asserting that eating soy makes people gay. psaw.
