Cardio combined with NO-EXPLODE - Wednesday, May 03, 2006 2:05 PM
OK so i have been using NO-Explode for about a month and i realize that this stuff is powerful. i have only weight lifted and used NO as a pre-workout drink. my question is will NO help if its combined with cardio to loose more body fat? if not then whats a good "pre-cardio" supplement to take in order to loose body fat.
NOTE: the cardio i am going to be doing is not high intensity, its middle fat burn intensity just below my target heart rate.

I use No-Explode before i do HIIT and I think it works well.  Without it I get bored/tired/lethargic.  With it I can stay on longer, stay motivated longer, and not get tired.  One key is to take it well before you work out, id say about an hr.  That way it digests and you dont get that bloated feeling.

After my cardio I lift.  This is probably not ideal, because the stimulant effect of No-X is probably wearing off by the time that i lift, but I have been cutting recently, and my main goal was to get in as much cardio as possible, then lift to preserve muscle mass, and give myself a full body workout.

Going forward, as I am looking to bulk a little during the summer-fall months, I will probably do some cardio in the morning, then take the No-X or a similar NO product in the evening and workout after that.  Ive read that its best to split up your cardio and lifting.  Ive never adhered to it, but I think i will start once my cutting stage is over.
