Cardio, Again.

I know I posted a thread about this a little while ago but I can't seem to find it. In that previous thread I said I wanted to work on my cardio, not for weight loss but for more cardio endurance and stamina. I don't have a gym membership yet and it's getting cold outside where I live and I don't exactly want to go run outside in the snow to train. Members suggested that I run up and down the stairs and or do jumping rope. I tried the stairs a little bit but I almost face planted like 3 times haha.. and I feel it doesn't work too well as an exercise. I tried jumping rope but I can't seem to get the most of it? I can go for like 12 minutes but then I stop, not because I'm burned but because my arms and legs give out and then I have a sloppy form. My grandmother bought a stationary bike a while ago, she never used it and she's ready to lend it to me so I can train on it, however I think I read a thread on here last year where someone said that treadmills and stationary bikes are not efficient for a good/effective cardio training? Should jump on the chance or what? Inputs/suggestions please

Haha, wow that signature is old. They aren't useless, but if I were you, I would just suck it up and go outside. If you put some sweatpants and a coat on, you should be fine, especially once you get warmed up.
Goals by end of 2009: Bench 205 Squat 255 ATG Squat Clean 185 "There is no elevator to success, you must take the stairs."
