Okay so lately I have been trying to stay away from the hole soda thing and drinks with excess sugar. So I have been replacing it with Carbonated wated with flavored liqued stevia. Stevia is a tea extract its really sweet and sweat leaf makes flavored products so i picked some up. It taste just like soda but I am wondering if Carbonated water can be bad for you, I mean it doesnt have sugar or anything but it still really fizzey and stuf.. Let me know please!!!

It's not "bad", but regualr water is much better.  If you don't replace your regular water with it then it is not a problem.  The carbonation may cause bloating and gas if you drink too much of it.

I wouldn't worry about the carbonated water, but there have been some animal studies to suggest that stevia may reduce male fertility (decreased sperm production, testosterone, etc.), so the jury is still out on stevia.

do u know how reliable those studies are or how that translates into humans? i've been using like 25+ drops of stevia a day on average for awhile now, probably more

with studies nowadays i wouldnt be surprised if one claims that even thinking drops hormones

enjoy the stevia and the carbonated water, but make strides towards dropping all that for regular water

ROFL.. if carbonated water is bad for you, then the people in south america are screwed.  They have "agua gasificado"     which = water with gas... carbonated water.  it tastes like crap. BUT they love it for some reason.  it's very popular down there...

don't see why u can't just drink regular water.  why do you have to have flavor in what you drink?

the carbonated water will not hurt you.  it's simply... water with gas haha.

Here's the abstract, but it doesn't mention the dosage (I don't have access to the whole article). It may be a case of one of those animal studies that uses 1000 times a reasonable dose, or it may not. Its effects on humans is still an open question. Pretty much every artificial or natural sweetener has some study linking it to cancer or infertility or metabolic disorder or something. IMO, you're better off just breaking yourself from the sweet tooth addiction.
