Can't seem to eliminate the LoveHandles

Does anyone have a particular workout or suggestion on how I can eliminate the small love handles I have toward the backsides of my waist. In all other areas I've seemed to lose the fat but, this area seems to be my problem spot.

The problem with fat is that we can't specify what fat we want the body to burn. Generally speaking the body will burn fat from the extremities inward so the gut unfortunately is the last fat we lose. So there are three options... Lyposuction (which I would assume is not really an option), dieting down even further, or putting up with a little handle. Sorry to break the news to you, unfortunately thats the way the body works. Abs are made in the kitchen. Only a good, solid cutting diet will rid those love handles.

Since this has to do w/ the topic one of my favorite quotes is: "If spot reduction worked people who chew gum would have skinny faces"

That is an awesome analogy KS, and quite humerous. D

Love handles are one of those things that millions of years of evolution have given us. In many men, they are the last fatty spot to reduce. I have lost my love handles completely twice in my life: once when I was 16 and completed a 15-day, 250 mile backpacking trek, and again when I was 21 and had been sick with Giardiasis for 5 months. (ew) I was 6' tall and 155 lbs and looked like bloody hell in both cases. There are topical fat-loss creams that claim to help you lose fat in a specific area, but I think by now we all agree they are bogus. My personal method for dealing with them is to try and avoid belts that squeeze them in the middle and make them look a lot bigger, and otherwise to come to accept them.

Thanks for the compliment I cant take credit though as this quote is written on a big sign at my gym. I think I will change my Christopher Walken quote though.
