natural hormones or synthetic versions of the same.
Are you suggesting that taking exogenous testosterone is not the same as using steroids because your body produces it naturally?
To the original question, no you cannot
feel testosterone directly -not with the same immediacy that you can
feel adrenaline. However, you can feel the cumulative effects of high testosterone, much of which are usually alluded to anecdotally.
Personally, after a huge leg workout like you described, Dan, I usually enjoy a tasty endorphine rush, accompanied by the ego-boost you refered to. High testosterone levels absolutely can affect your mood, your appetite, and your libido. Ever since I started blasting the crap out of my workouts and bulk-dieting, I'm constantly horny, I have minor back acne outbreaks, I'm irritable and short-tempered, and I sweat like a madman at night.
Obviously, taking exogenous T will exacerbate these symptoms.
