Certain carbs can even help lose fat- Anything that's whole grain or whole wheat is a good way to go- My personal favorite is whole grain brown rice, it's an excellent slow burning carb- Takes longer for your body to digest, so your body's burning more calories through digestion for a longer period of time. Also, you get more energy from it over a longer period of time.
