Hell yes. I'm not fifty yet myself, I imagine it does get harder- But my downstairs neighbor's son is in his mid fifties, freakin' huge. He only started in his late thirties too- I can only hope I look that good when I'm his age.
Coleman- Probably not a good example, guys of his caliber are usually using that little extra.

You know what's cool though? Most guys who are in real good shape at that age look a hell of a lot better in general than others their age- I mean, I used to have this idea in my head of what people look like when they're fifty, and what I have to look forward to- But then, you see the ones who take care of themselves- Eat right, work out smart- And things don't look so bad anymore.Smile

Sorry to disappoint you, but no, it won't.

I know you wanted it to be gut wrenching and make your eyeballs bleed...something to brag about.

But its just as easy for us older guys, no matter what age, as for the young pups.

Easier if you were fit as a pup.

Only thing is you have to train smarter!
For Gaining Mass <----link to some guidelines...

Always warm up and cool down!

I have been training for 30 years...

The reason it is not as easy after a decade or three is that the body adapts.  It gets good at doing the things we tell it to do.

What we have to do is train in a smarter manner.  Then it gets easy again.
