I have a question. Well first let me say that it is time for me to take 1-2 weeks off from lifting since I have already been lifting for 10 now.. well during the week off you typically eat more and it is a period of rest and calorie surplus to make your muscles recover, etc. for when you get back. But what if I start my cut on the week off? I am thinking of doing keto so that way the muscle would not be catabolized much since ketones are being used all the time. SO can I start my cut during the week off? I would be doing cardio as well. Thanks for any answers

i wouldnt, you usually make your biggest gains when you take it easy for a week or so, id keep eating.  Its only a week anyway.

i really wouldnt suggest taking 2 weeks off after only lifting for 10

I have been lifting for 2 years now, not 10 weeks total if thats what you interpreted. I have heard its good to take 1-2 off every 10 weeks, so I am just wondering :D thanks for input guys.

ya your right i thought you ment you had only been lifting 10 weeks.
 
 
 
 
i personally try to take a week off every 6 months but as always it just depends on the individual, if your body feels like it needs a rest then go for it.
