Clinically proven to reduce skin cancer in mice. As for the fat loss part, there's SOME reserch that seems to indicate that it may help you gain BACK lean mass instead of fat mass when you bulk back up AFTER losing weight, but not much by way of saying it helps you actually lose it to begin with. I've also heard that CLA and Omega fatty acids (fish and flax oils) may have some sort of balance with each other, so in some cases taking CLA might actually increase your cholesterol. I've actually been taking CLA every day for months (along with fish oil), since before my cutting phase began. Has it helped? Beats me. I've had good results, but I've also had a lot of other things going for me on the diet. However if what I've read is true, it might be the biggest help when I start bulking again.

I did a little review of CLA. Tried it for a good 2 months. Without modifying anything else in the diet. You can read about it here

I took CLA for the month of Feb. That month, I lost no pounds, but lost an entire clothing size. But it was also my first month on MaxOT. So I cannot totally attribute the loss in inches to the CLA. But it is expensive so I stopped taking it. From what I understand, it is good for reducing abdominal fat, and helps keep fat from coming back on later. But you need to take 3.5 g or higher for the fat reducing effects. Most CLA's are around 70% pure CLA, so that comes to 5-6 pills per day. 70% of 1000 mgs = 700 mgs x 5 = 3500 mgs (3.5 g). Which gets $$$$.

Yes, CLA does work. I've been using it for about 3-4 months now @ 3g/day. I use the Tonalin cuz it's a high quality. I changed nothing in my workouts, just added the CLA. I lost 8.4% body fat in only 20lbs in about 8 weeks. I read an article at work(I work at GNC), and it said it's very effective at 3 grams/day. Think of your fat cell like a bath tub. It's got a faucet and a drain. The CLA tells your fat cell to constrict the faucet, and CARDIO is what opens the drain and burns the fat. There's no substitute for hard work for good results, and CLA definately helps in my experience. I've set up a few customers with it, and they've had almost equally impressive results too. but !HARD WORK! is the key.

Ugh...Been a long while since my last post! Anyway...Been using the CLA at 3g/day for 3/4 of a year or so. Haven't really dropped much more BF% than my 17%. It seems this does work for the short term along with a good diet/exercise regimen. I keep taking it tho (along with Flax oil 3g/day) because my energy seems to be higher and my hair/skin tone quality is quite a bit better. Not just for the girls...I'm a guy and I'm happy at the results. Also, I've cut some corners in the diet once in a while and junked out a few days outta the month. This could've halted any BF% loss, which I'm sure it has. Also, although I work at GNC, that doesn't effect my decisions of products. I don't like their used-car-salesman mentality and their aggressive outlook towards customers. I live in a small town and know the people I sell to. I try lots of different things to see myself whether or not I like them. I don't care about PMs or commission either. I tell people the truth, or at least my experience with stuff. LoL, case in point: Total Lean. worthless...didn't try it, but worthless. In my experience, the ingredients are decent antioxidants at most. But when you cut your calories by about 30% like in their meal plan they want you to follow, you'll lose weight(duh). I know some of the Sr Members and Mods have worked at stores like GNC or even there, so you know what I'm talking about. I'm an honest guy and wouldnt sell crap to someone reguardless of the 'sale contest' on a particular item. So, just so ya know, when I say I liked something...I REALLY DO! But yeah...Retail can be a female dog once in a while...Just gotta be an honest person! And BTW, my commission is great cuz I am real with my customers and they keep coming back to me. The best Business is honest business!
