CELLMASS: side effects? - Sunday, July 13, 2008 8:03 PM
just wondering  if i should worry about side effects if i use this product , the warning says do not take if u get anxiety ect( its on all BSN products so maybe they put it there just to cover there basis). and i have a mild anxiety problem , i get anxious when i feel un-natural feelings like being wired ,rapid heart beat ect. which is why i would never drink energy drinks ,   taking supplements makes me alittle uncomfortable but ive been peaked now for like 6 months and want a big strength increase , i wont take NO EXPLODE because of the energy drink stuff in it , anyway , so if i take this ill get a muscle pump yes? which is what i want ??or need ??, but will it make me wired?? i tend to work out at night and go to sleep and work in the morning so thats another reason i wouldnt want to be wired.

thanks

ive changed it a few times actually , i have size gains , but they fluxate cuz of my poor diet , which i am fixing but the strength is what i want , well just at the moment until i reach my bench press goal of 6 reps unspotted of 225lbs  , i can barely do a rep at 185lbs now , im 5'11-6'0 feet and fluxate between 175-180lbs , body fat unknown , probably below 15%.
tris are strong but shoulders/back suck which is what i attribute to my weak bench press.

ive heard great things about this product and want to try it , if the responses to this thread as positive , and it wont make me sketchy or wired............ or perhaps i should just try plain old bio-x creatine mono powder?

if you don't want sketchy, you don't want BSN products (cellmass is a bsn product)  they are being sued because they lie about whats in their products

anabolic switch or Green magnitude is what you want to look for. those are the best creatines out there.

clean up your diet, that's #1

You can get a pump just from doing a lightweight a lot of times. The pump does not indicate muscle growth or strength

increase. If you workout at night, I wouldn't take anything energy wise because you still will probably be a little wired after you

workout. Also if you have anxiety problems then I would talk to your doctor about taking supplements.

Before starting anything post your diet and routine. Like boomer said that it is probably the problem. Also if you have been

doing the same routine for six months then you should change your routine. Also you can see some amazing gains just by

getting your diet in check.

I will answer your questions about the product in general. Of course make sure your diet is good before you start supplements. I would also get a good multi, and some whey before anything else.
Cell mass is a creatine supplement and as much as I can tell should not have any stimilants in it that would give you anxiety. There could be some B vitamins or taurine that might affect you slightly. They list Muscle Cell Uptake Proprietary Matrix, that could consist of b12 and taurine, but I dont know for sure.

The pump you are refering to comes from L-Arginine, if this is what you are looking for I would look into getting L-arginine or AAKG. Of course you can get a pump from lifting as well.
If you are looking for creatine then I would try some plain creatine mono. Cellmass is expensive and I don't think it is that great of a product, plus if you just get mono then you wont have to worry about extra stimulants in the product. If you have anymore questions let me know, or PM me.

thanks for the quick responses guys!

my diet is a flipping mess , all junk , pop , burgers , chips ect.  but im seriously trying to eat better ,  but back to the supplements , my anxiety problem isnt sever or anything , my docotor said i could take creatine but i dont know if he knows about all the crap in it , probably just thinks its creatine , but who knows ,  if the BSN gave me a tad bit of a rush thats fine , i just dont wanna feel like im on drugs , like my friends have taken NANO VAPOUR and NO EXPLODE and said thats how they felt , so if cellmass isnt anything harsh im still interested , however  one of u said bsn lies about whats in there products? and is being sued? is this word of mouth or an actual article? if so could u post a link?

kinda funny , the UFC back XYIENCE and i heard they were being sued for the same thing , now UFC backs BSN... just thought its a wierd coinsidence...........or is it?

also i havent stuck to the same routine for 6  months , ive been peaked that long ,i change it up about  every 2 months ,  just a few ex's per muscle group.(for example CHEST- flat , decline machine , incline-----now---- incline with DB , flat BB , flat cable flies )  but i really want to reach my goal of 225 bench 6 unspotted reps so thats why i want creatine for alittle push ,  so if i buy plain creatine mono , would BIO-X be a good choice?

agreed.  you can find much better supps to spend your money on besides cellmass.

if you're asking about cellmass side effects.. i would say PLACEBO effect haha.

boomer gave some good advice.  nothing to add really.. i agree with his advice.
