Burning Fat, Building Muscle

I'm 20, 5'7, about 150lbs. Very average body composition right now. Too much fat. I have been running on the treadmill 3-4 miles 5 days a week. which is about 30-40 min. Along with cardio... Mon - Shoulders/Biceps Tue- Legs Wed - Chest/Triceps Thur - Legs Fri - Back The weight training is not super intense. I will go to muscular failure but I'm not doing several different excersises. I will maybe do 3-4 different excersises and then finish with 15 min of abs. My goal is to really cut my body fat down and tighten things up. Am I on the road to that? Also I don't eat bad, but I'm pretty much always hungry and never full since I started working out.

this is somewhat similar to my prev routine. it is run of the mill. takes time. but it will work. just make sure u concentrate on a decent warmup and then do abs on alternate days or once in 2 days depending on ur recovery period. dont do it everyday. abs are also muscle groups. u want them to recover and grow. DO Squats. dont cheat on form or the diet. PS : try mark rippetoe's workout. it s addictive and u get sure-shot results.

You need to make sure your diet is in check for leaning up, calories and actual food choices need to be sorted. Post your diet up, I'll have a scan, I'm sure others will too! I'd maybe cut down on that cardio a lil bit, maybe do 3 days cardio and a day weight routine -and find a routine that has you pushing yourself a little more!
