Hey best way for a teen to bulk up? Should Teens stack supplements?

I have been tryin to GAIN weight since states in mid march, so far i've put on close to 30 pounds.

I did this by:
1. taking weight gainer 2x a day
2. taking creatine'
3. eating meat past the point of being full and bloated at dinner and lunch
4. lifting 6x a week as hard and as long as I can
5. taking whey protein 3x a day (60ish grams)

This will work for awhile for me....i'm tryin to get to 280.

i am 178cm tall and weight 134 pounds. i would like to bulk up alot. but i dun have money to buy mass gainer as it is too exxx. is whey protein alone enough? thx! any other tips for bulking up?

I dont think taht hwey itsself could help immensly, but it wouldnt hurt. I would just reccomend upping calorie intake in ur position.

iron out of courosity how much of that 30 pounds was muscle?

Guys- SCREW SUPPS. Especially at first, anyway. What, by far, is the best possible legal mass building substance out there? FOOD. Without a good solid food diet to start out with, supps ain't going to do much anyway. They're called supplements, because they're designed to supplement a good diet- Not replace one. If you're currently eating five or six meals a day, made up of the right types and amounts of food, tailored to meet YOUR specific caloric needs each day- And you've been eating like this for a few months, and your gains have tapered off- THEN it's time to add some supps. There are some people on this site that are on so many damn different supps, they can't possibly tell which ones are working for them anymore, and which ones are just draining their money. If you ask me, protein, creatine, and some glutamine are about all you need, and that's only when you've run out of beginner gains from good food.

ALL MUSCLE.....HAHAHAHAHHA yeah right..

But in all seriousness I would say 3-5 pounds muscle....i have been gaining fast and I mean fast. But I'm not really concerned with gaining fat or msucle...I wouldl ike more muscle but if I put on some fat (a lot...heh) then Idc....I just wanna be a full blown SHW powerlifter.

Thats my goal....as some of urs is to lose weight or get ripped i wanna gain weight....the easy thing to do :).

There's a powerlifter in my Judo class- Definitely not defined, some people make the mistake of thinking he's just fat- Until they see him move. Talk about balance and speed- You'd think someone that size would have a hard time with a sport like Judo, where it's not about strength at all, but economy of movement. He says that's why he does it actually, because it helps his powerlifting- Being able to move fast enough to get under the weight, and maintain perfect balance at the same time for things like the clean and press. Very impressive.

yeah CPL, I do some training when it starts getting nice out with tires and jump boxes and agility....obviously not the same as Judo but it helps with balance like u said.

Its funnit that the things u think would help u least in powerlifting...help u more.

As your only supplement? even alone, yes it will. it won't truly be the cause of the bulking, but its incredibly important for your muscles nutrients. Cpl couldn't have put it better. The best bulking agent is food itself. Just eat 4-5 whole food meals a day, and then your protein shake after your workout, and you'll be gaining probably 2 pounds a week, which is the steady right way to do it. Don't think supplements are the right/only way to do it. I've been down that road, and the moral of the story i found was that real food is what gets you big, and gets you big in the right ways.

yeah, but supplements r natural...its not like ur takin steroids...now if he was considering juicing, I wouldd say no def not...but supps are all natural

bulking is easy as one two three
eat a SH*T LOAD
sleep a SH*T LOAD
train a SH*T LOAD

not do not over train its bad make sure its a good amount : )

  I don't see why people thik that creatine or supplements are going to make them explode with muscle mass. I work at a GNC every once in a while(friends with a guy that owns one). Anyway I help him out if I have the time and he needs someone to work that day. Beginneres come in every day, there is no convincing them to just buy protein and not waste there time on(listed in order of most wanted) Creatine, No2, and rare but when they see it on the shelf they want it T-bomb2 or tribex. The worst part about it is they don't cycle off like there supposed to, and they don't take your advice on taking the recomended docage.
  Though I just get entertained by the fat people that come in looking at metabolism boosters. "Do I have to exercise with this?". Though by far the best one I ever heard, we have one fat burner called lypo something. this FAT lady comes in adn asks "if I take these do they just suck the fat up like lyposuction then I (can't thk of the word she used to say poo) poo them out?". I had no idea if she was serious or not. so this is what I said " ummm well if that is what they do they are about this big *hand motion*, so you would have to buy that whole rack to suck up all the fat".

if you think supplements are natural you will have to explain me what "natural" means for you. They are all made in laboratory, and things made in laboratory are ARTIFICIAL.
