right ok, here u go: Age: 16 (17 in a week) Height: 6ft Weight: 9 - 10 Stone Body Fat: 10 - 12% I am trying to gain muscle size and strength in my upper body, but i do some leg exercises but i don't see them as being as important as my arms and chest. Short Term: make my muscles more solid because at the moment they are big but not solid. Long Term: A good strong chest/arms/back/legs/ and the all important abs so what you think??? what is good 2 eat (protien, eggs) and what not to eat (choclate???) thanx

While I could easily make the argument that each muscle is just as important as any other, instead I'm going to say that working your legs and back can in fact be more important than working your chest- Why? Because squats and deadlift are BY FAR the two best overall mass building exercises you can possibly do. They involve a lot more muscle than bench presses, and build far more functional strength- Without a strong base to steady yourself or push off from, a strong chest means absolutely nothing. If you're serious about bulking, you really have to do squats and deads- Well, you really have to work every muscle group in general for the best results, but I would never leave squats and deadlifts out of any serious routine. When it comes to eating, check out the nutrition forum for plenty of info on diets and what to eat- Five or six meals a day is the rule, with plenty of protein, good carbs and fats- There are calorie calculators in the nutrition forum and tons of posts about exactly how much of what you should eat- So make sure you check it out.

Your boy cries but you proceed to fratenise with those baby blue eyes, eyes like the sky you pleaded for ties. Your stomach cries, and you envisionise a plate full of fries. Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

You're missing out on all sorts of other muscle involvement, strength and muscle gains when you use a machine for squats- The three best exercises out there for overall muscle development are squats, deadlifts and benchpress- Pretty much in that order, too. Unless you have some sort of injury that prevents you, you're really cheating yourself if you don't do freeweight squats.
