Same here lol.  I can't wait till school is out..  The older I get the more I hate wakeing up early.

I get up at 5:00 to go run. Then I take a shower, and get dressed. after that I eat breakfast, and finally pack my second meal. My frieend is usually there to pick me up around 6:05 to go to schoool. School starts at 6:40, and we get a 15 minute break to eat on the way to our next class at 10. School's out at 12:35, but I don't get out until June.
For me to make my second meal I'd have to gut up at like 4:45, and that's just not right.

I've been wakeing up early without an alarm clock since i broke my collar bone.

How is your classes so short?  I have school from 7:00 a.m. through 2:15 p.m.  Are you a senior?

I need to start running to get a 6 pack before summer lol.

    I just noticed your weight.  I'm 5 foot 10 or 11 150 pounds.

I'm 5' 9". My classes are so short because of the hurricane Katrina. It destroyed a lot of the schools in our area, so we get out at 12:30, and another school used to come in after us from 1:30-6:30. Now the schools are fixed, but we still get out at 12:30 since so many kids had jobs and actually help there parents pay the bills(parents lost there jobs witht he storm). Basically if the school went back to normal hours they would become homeless or have to drop out of school.

Some good snacks are peanuts. They are a pure protein. Also eat sandwiches with chicken cold cut. Chicken has a great protein to fat ratio. In like 4 0z of chicken theres like 25 grams of protein and only a half a gram of fat. Tuna has a great protein to fat ratio also. Cottage cheese has natural whey protein which is the best for muscle recovery. I hoped that answered your question.

First off you can not do the same workout every single day. You need to vary your routine. If you are using dumbells here are some workouts for different muscles.

For each exercise you should do about 5 sets and only do 6-10 reps

delts, shoulders
shrugs
lateral raises
internal and external rotation
butterflies

Chest
flat bench
military overhead press
pec flies

triceps,lats
seated rows
upright rows
behind the head extensions

biceps
curls
nuetral grip curls
reverse grip curls

If you have any more questions email me at nicholas.keough@quinnipiac.edu

Peanuts are NOT pure protein, they are pure fat!
But not too bad a food, almonds are better for fat, eggs, chicken and fish are protein.

Today at the gym, I watched this one dudes routines, and it obviously works for him so here it is,

Bench Press 4x8
Incline 3x6-8 wasn't really watching
Decline 3x8
Incline Dumbell 3x8
back to Bench Press 3x6 (with much lighter weight)
Chest Flys 3x8

then he did curls and I left to the other side (I wasn't stalking him, I just finished a little after he was done..ha)

anyway, hope that helped..

GOULDY!
aye lemme give u a lil advice here.
first off u wanna impress a chick right.
da average woman is attracted to a guys face, chest, and arms.....in that order. [[then abs]] so yeah now dat u kno dat. work on wat dey want for ur lil trip. as far as the protein shake for best results youll have one before AND after your workout. espcially 15-20 minutes after workout. but before if u consume it i find it gives you a booost of energy as well. when working out dont overdue it meaning intensely working out even after already sore. thats how you get hurt. also for best results dont work out at night. morning to early evening iight. hope i help

ORIGINAL: 8pack

Protein Shakes I'd Prefer are:

IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate   -    my personal favorite
IsoPure Whey Isolate          -    a little expensive
Muscle Milk                         -    this is great, its not only protein

For the Multi-Vitamin, Try "Animal Pak".

i kno isopure is supposed to be the best for you and everything so thats why i went and bought it, but it tastes like the worst protein i ever bought. it tastes like salt to me. and it just leaves the worst taste in your mouth. i have to just chug it down as fast as i could.

i doubt you can bench that much wieghing only 120 pounds.. if you can hey more power to you. you can bench for than me. but if you wanna try something new. try celltech or no xplode. in my opinion cell tech tastes better. no xplode is really sore. (at least in fruit punch flavor)

Yes, there are ways of drinking. I bet you used water to mix with right? Try milk itll be much better. Also, I personally hate fruit flavors, I will only go for the chocolate/vanilla/strawberry flavors and on occasion, if something such as mocha joe or cookies n creme flavors are recommended by friends, I will give them a try.

Re: RE: Bulking Up for Beginning Teens - Tuesday, September 16, 2008 3:00 PM ( #52 )
What a great muscle forum! Just thought I would share something I read. This guy gained 34 pounds of muscle in one month by working out 30 minutes 2 times per week. He would do a full body workout doing multijoint exercises.
Amazing! From 152 lbs to 186 lbs in one month.

Here's how he did it:

1. Follow Arthur Jones’ general recommendations for one-set-to-failure from the little-known Colorado Experiment, but with lower frequency (maximum of twice per week) and with at least 3 minutes between exercises.

2. Perform every repetition with a 5/5 cadence (5 seconds up, 5 seconds down) to eliminate momentum and ensure constant load.

3. Focus on no more than 4-7 multi-joint exercises (leg press, trap bar deadlift, overhead press, Yates bent row, dips, incline machine benchpress, etc.) and exercise your entire body each workout to elicit a maximal hormonal (testosterone, growth hormone + IGF-1) response.

4. Eat enormous quantities of protein (much like my current fat-loss diet) with low-glycemic index carbohydrates like quinoa, but drop calories by 50% one day per week to prevent protein uptake downregulation.

5. Exercise less frequently as you increase strength and size, as your recovery abilities can only increase 20-30%, while you can often increase fat-free muscle tissue up to 100% before reaching a genetic set-point.

6. Record every workout in detail, including date, time of day, order of exercises, reps, and weight. Remember that this is an experiment, and you need to control the variables to accurately assess progress and make adjustments.

old post and no. 34 lb of muscle in a month is IMPOSSIBLE if you find someone that did it i'll give you anything in the world, and if it was possible that sure wouldn't be the program to do it.
Goals by end of 2009:
Bench 205
Squat 255 ATG
Squat Clean 185

hey all you posts saying im so and so and wanting to gain fast

guess what you cant gain muscle overnight im 18 6"4 and 80 kg round 170 pounds and im a hard gainer. but for real guys you need to train like a demon eat like a horse and rest like a pig.            train-eat-grow

try optimum nutrition size on 50g protein 250 g carbs  have that before or after you workout
if before half the serving

simply put guys i eat an insane amount probablly about 150 bucks a week australian and iv only gaines 4 kilo
