RE: Bulking Plan w/ Slow Burners

To satisfy the needs or requirements of; be enough for Yes.. I follow the standard 1 to 1.5 g of protein per lb of bodyweight as well. The above bulk plan is pretty much on par with those standards. Some need a bit more.. some need a bit less. I don't think anything over 2g would be a good idea. Your post is on target with what I've heard and read as well. That is why I like the sample plan. It helped me put on some mass and kept the fat to a minimum.

Yeah but put aside people and them having different metabolisms. We are all human, we all have the same body part more or less. My point is more toward the inside though, don't be a smart Alec and say females have a uterus blah blah. Our metabolism are the same in the sense of they are built the same way! Like a building, are you going to build another one with different foundation? Trying to make this as easy to understand as possible, the metabolism is made up the same way, the only difference is the way way eat as individuals and the speed. But if you eat 5-6 meals a day in order to speed up your metabolism by giving constant nutrient rich meals to burn all day. Along with exercise to generate more mitochondria in the muscle cells. I don't see any reason why it wont' rocket off on it's Merry little way to burning food efficiently.

actually, in some rare cases, there is a problem with the stomach digesting food too slow. I know, because I just found out that I have it. I have been taking meds to speed it up for the last couple of weeks. I think that may in some way contribute to my metabolism and the fact that I was always "big" as a kid no matter what I ate. Not that I would suspect anyone with low metabolism that they would have this, simply if you have other health problems in the stomach area, I would get checked.

Good point made, not everything can be changed naturally, sometimes you'll have to get help. (ie. Medications) Another good thing is seeing a physician about what you want to do. Thanks, slayerboy.

Yeah.. I got it from a very reliable and good source. He knows I have it listed and he's cool with it. I can vouch as the admin that I did this.. being an ecto.. and it make a massive difference. No changes in training required. Welcome to DB w8lifter..
