Can you build muscle by working with your 1 rep max? I mean like if you bench 185, could you do like 10 sets of 1 rep? Will this build muscle or just your strength?

yeah definitely power lifting
they do routines with 85 90 and 95 percent of their one rep max
this is for major strength increases
mass is from doin routines with progressive % of weight
if you like the idea of max routines look into mike metzner, dorian yates, and a few other bodybuilders
the only bad thing about it dorian yates had to retire early due to bad joints
so it will work but at what cost to your joints
