Yeah, never got these before but have been getting them from squats recently :\. Could there be something wrong with my form or something?

yeah that is common when you have lots of weight. the blood vessels and stuff are close to the surface without much padding. try to get the velcro wrap cushion thing on there if your gym has it. if not then a towel or something with a little bulk does the trick. if you are getting cuts and actually breaking the skin then you definitly need that protection. I still get broken vessels when I use the calf raise station at my gym. usually goes away in a day or so though.

See, I was only doing a warm up squat of 100, then I stopped when told the machine wasn't bolted down :\. Thanks for the help.
