( #1 )
So today i had minor surgery on my broken nose to put the bone back in place. I was on anastisha ( prob spelled wrong) and boy was i high as a kite! anyway the doc said i have to wear this gay PINK nose splint for 10 days and i cant do anything physical for 4 weeks. Im going to die if i cant lift! i work out with the special ops chief of ohio and other guys for preparation for buds and 4 weeks is just a long time to do nothing! idk i dont want to mess it up more bu i dont want to get all soft either. Im a little upset about it all anyone have any advice?
Get up off your ass and train!

Your probably going to be breathing through your nose regardless of what you do, what difference does it make if your lifting, running or sitting down watching tv... If it was me I would lift anyway see how it feels and if everythign is fine, continue with it. Thats just me though.

You probably broke some veins too High blood pressure may brake those veins again When you train blood starts pumping through your whole body increasing blood pressure, this will increase the swelling and it will hurt, it will make the haematoma bigger and you'll have dark eye sacks Listen to the doc

true, which is why he should go to the gym and see just how bad the situation is. I just about broke my nose when I fell on my face, and continued working out and for the rest of my program... but then again im a guy who would train through the black plague, so my opinion here is biased :) I still say go to the gym, see how it goes and go from there. Take your BP now. Go run a mile, and your BP will be LOWER. I promise, you aren't going to make more blood and now your blood has more places to go so it will lower it. If you're lifting as long as you breathe the blood should be going to the areas you are training. It shouldn't do a thing to his BP. Bout the nose, IDK man I'm just an EMT. haha

No one here has the education to tell you anything against a doctors order. If you really want to know then call up the doc and ask him what would happen if you worked out.

Listen to your doctor. Not only do you have a good chance of having extreme nasal hemorrhage ,but you could do damage to your sinus cavities. Its been alot of years but it seems like about 2 weeks is what it took me to get back going after my surgery. You also need to remember at this point it only takes a small bump to knock the bone out of alignment.
